Katy Perry has confirmed she is expecting her first child with fiance Orlando Bloom. The American Idol judge said, “it’s the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep.” The 35-year-old singer revealed the news in the music video for her latest single, Never Worn White, which debuted at 5am.
The romantic ballad has Katy dressed in a white dress, singing “see us in 60 years with a full family tree”. The song’s video ended with the star first rubbing her belly in a white dress before, in the final shot, she turned to the side while wearing a sheer look to show off her bump in all its glory.

She confirmed the news further on an Instagram Live and followed things up with a tweet: “Let’s just say it’s gonna be a jam packed Summer.” Katy also joked about not having to keep her pregnancy a secret anymore, writing, “Omg so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore.”
Perry further added that she and Bloom can’t wait for the arrival of their little one.
Katy and Orlando first got together in 2016. The singer made their relationship Insta official by sharing a photo of the two lounging in robes on the steps of a building in Cannes. Nearly a year later, the two split in February 2017. However, the couple reconciled in 2018 and then got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019.
The baby will be the first for Perry with fiancé Orlando Bloom. The Lord of the Rings actor, 43, is already a father to 9-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
