Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 Digital Selection Process Breaks Records In Lockdown

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, several filmmakers and TV show producers had to keep their projects on hold. The reason being theatres and shooting sets were completely shut for more than two months. The makers of Amitabh Bachchan’s show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 12’ have utilized it in the best manner possible. They have used the period for the selection process of candidates through a digital medium.

The show breaks the records with the highest number of audition entries for the upcoming season.

Considering the pandemic lockdown, the auditions were conducted digitally on the SonyLIV app for the upcoming season. The registration for KBC 12 was started on May 9 and lasted for two weeks.
