Keanu Reeves starrer Matrix first arrived way back in 1999. The movie left the audiences in awe with a never before seen action sequences. The visual effects added to the excitement. Though The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions were not as successful as the original. Now, two decades after Revolutions, the makers are all set for The Matrix 4. Lana Wachowski is back once again this time to helm the fourth film in the Matrix trilogy
Well, Keanu Reeves starrer Matrix 4 is one of the most anticipated film. Though the makers have tried to keep much of the details of the film under wraps. Recently the tile of the upcoming release was reportedly revealed. According to Yahoo Finance, the new film – dubbed The Matrix 4 until now – will be Matrix Resurrections.
Though there has been no confirmation of the same from the makers as yet. Screen Rant had reached out to Warner Bros. and HBO Max for comment. But they told that the movie remains untitled as yet.
Keanu Reeves will return for the new film in the starring role as Neo, with Carrie-Anne Moss once again playing Trinity. Matrix 4 also features Jada Pinkett Smith, Neil Patrick Harris, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Jessica Henwick.
Matrix 4 – or The Matrix: Resurrections, as it’s apparently called – will be with us on December 22nd, 2021
