Kieron Pollard joins Yuvraj Singh in exclusive club, hits six sixes in an over in T20Is

West Indies captain Kieron Pollard slammed six sixes in an over off Dhanajaya in T20I. He became the third player after Yuvraj Singh and Herschelle Gibbs to achieve this feat. Yuvraj had hit 6 sixes in an over during the 2007 World Cup against England. While Gibbs achieved the feat against the Netherlands during the 50-over World Cup in 2007.

Kieron achieved the feat in the first T20I of the three-match series against Sri Lanka here at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.

Sri Lankan player Dananjaya became the 15th player and the fourth Sri Lankan to take a T20 international hat trick. He achieved this feat after dismissing Evin Lewis (28), Gayle and Nicholas Pooran (0) with consecutive deliveries in the fourth over.

The Sri Lankan spinner could not bask in his new-found fame for long, as Pollard went on to hit six sixes in his sixth over.

The West Indies won the match by four wickets with 41 balls in hand, finishing with 134-6.
