‘Singham’ actor Kishore Nandlaskar passes away due to COVID-19

Veteran actor Kishore Nandlaskar who was popular for his roles in Hindi films like ‘Vaastav’, ‘Khakee,’ ‘Singham’, ‘Simmba,’ and others has passed away after battling Coronavirus. He was hospitalized at a COVID center in Thane, Maharashtra. On Tuesday, he took his last breath between 12:30 pm to 1 pm.

Confirming the news, Kishore Nandlaskar’s grandson Anish, told ABP, “My grandfather was admitted to a Covid-19 Center in Thane on April 14 after he tested positive last week. He breathed his last in the Covid centre between 12.30pm to 1pm. He was having trouble breathing and talking before being admitted to the Covid center. His oxygen level had also fallen significantly.”

Many celebrities paid tribute to the late actor via social media. Manoj Bajpayee tweeted as: “Sad news!!! May god bless his soul !!!! 🙏🙏”

‘Bombay Begums’ fame Amruta Subhash wrote: “#KishoreNandlaskar passes away due to covid😢 we have lost a great great actor! His sense of timing was unmatchable. Salute to you Kishor kaka 🙏
किशोरकाका नांदलस्कर गेले.. कोविडमुळे😢फार मोठे कलाकार! किशोरकाका श्रद्धांजली🙏”

Kishore made his debut with the Marathi film ‘Mina Dika’ in 1989. Later, he worked in Marathi movies like ‘Miss You Miss’, ‘Bhavishyachi Aishi Taishi’, ‘Jara Japan Kara’, ‘Hello Gandhe Sir,’ and many more.
