Owing to the pandemic Coronavirus outspread, the economy and business sectors were highly affected. Several production houses halted the theatrical release of films considering the uncertainty in the market. New release date for Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer Laal Singh Chaddha has been now announced officially. It will be released theatrically on the special occasion of Valentines Day 2022.
Laal Singh Chaddha’s new release date has been announced in response to the Maharashtra government’s decision of reopening of theatres and multiplexes in the state. The film also features Naga Chaitanya, Mona Singh, and Manav VJ in the pivotal roles. It will be released theatrically on Valentine’s Day 2022. In an official statement, Aamir Khan Productions mentioned, “We welcome the decision of the administration to allow cinemas to re-open from 22nd Oct. Due to the delays faced as a result of the pandemic, we will be unable to release our film Laal Singh Chaddha, this Christmas. We will now be releasing Laal Singh Chaddha on Valentine’s Day, 2022.”
Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor reunite for Laal Singh Chaddha marks after the massive hit of film, 3 Idiots. The upcoming flick is an Hindi adaption of Tom Hanks film, Forrest Gump 1994.
Earlier, Laal Singh Chaddha was slated to be released on Christmas Eve. However, the schedule has been now taken over by Ranveer Singh’s cricket drama, ’83. The actor took to his Instagram to share new pictures unveiling the new release date. He captioned his post, “It’s time……….. 🏏🏆83 IN CINEMAS THIS CHRISTMAS. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. #ThisIs83. “
