Candle: Madhuri Dixit dedicates first single to COVID-19 frontline workers

Bollywood’s Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit is one of the versatile actresses of B-Town. She has left her fans impressed not only with acting chops’ but also with her dancing skills. The Diva has now added a new feather to her cap. The Tezaab girl has officially marked her debut on the singing platform. She has unveiled her new single Candle. The song is all about hope, much needed in these trying times of COVID-19.

Sharing the song, Madhuri Dixit wrote: “Candle – happy, excited and a little nervous! Here’s my first ever song, out for all of you to enjoy. I hope you love it as much as we enjoyed creating it!”

The music video features glimpses of Madhuri Dixit singing the track. It also has videos of health workers doing their job across the world with glimpses of the countries where lockdown has been imposed. At the end of the clip, a message flashes on the screen: “This is dedicated to all those fighting on the frontline. They are the real heroes. We need to burn bright like candles through the hurricane and emerge stronger together.”

Madhuri Dixit had announced the release of her first single on her birthday.

On the work front, Madhuri Dixit was last seen in Karan Johar’s Kalank. The period drama also featured Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt. Madhuri will soon be seen judging reality TV dance show Dance Deewane’s new season.
