Manoj Tiwari Gets Replaced By Adesh Kumar Gupta As Delhi BJP President

Renowned actor, Manoj Tiwari was appointed as Delhi BJP president in the year 2016. Apparently, he borrowed some time since the party’s disastrous performance in the assembly election a few months back. As per the latest reports, Adesh Kumar Gupta will now take over Tiwari’s position to rule the party’s presidentship in the capital.

As per the reports, Tiwari earlier offered to quit his position after the party lost to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi assembly polls. And the actor wanted to quite as his term was also over.

Adesh Kumar Gupta’s appointment is will take place with immediate effect, as a former mayor of North Delhi Municipal Corporation and replacing Manoj Tiwari (as a member of Lok Sabha at the helm in the Delhi BJP).

Aper the latest report in News18, Adesh Kumar Gupta said, “I’m thankful to PM Narendra Modi, JP Nadda and other senior leaders of the party for appointing a humble party worker like me to the post of state party president. It will be challenging to expand and consolidate the party base in view of the coronavirus pandemic.”
