Manushi Chhillar is now trending for some time as it is rumoured that she is going to make her Bollywood debut soon with Yash Raj Films’ much anticipated film Prithviraj. Though the rumours are spreading here and there, it is confirmed that Manushi Chhillar will be the leading lady of the historical drama which is in reality based on life and heroism of fierce and powerful king Prithviraj Chauhan.
According to a report by Bollywood Life, Akshay Kumar will be essaying the role of Prithviraj Chauhan whereas Manushi Chillar will be seen playing his love interest Sanyogita. The Miss World 2017 will be making her biggest debut. The film is being helmed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The director is famous for directing TV Show Chanakya. In 2003, the filmmaker received several awards for his film Pinjar.
Moreover, reportedly in an interaction with Bombay Times, the model talked about her debut on silver screen. “It is a huge honour to have been chosen by a production house like Yash Raj Films as their heroine. I’m thrilled about the learnings that I will have through this journey. My life, so far, has really been a fairy tale…getting such a big project as my debut film, it’s like a new, exciting chapter of my life.” she said.
Meanwhile the model further talked about her character where she said that it was huge responsibility to play as princess Sanyogita. Produced by Yash Raj Films, Chandraprakash Dwivedi will direct the film. Prithviraj is slated to release on Diwali 2020.
