Mardaani 2: Rani Mukerji receives a special gift from art director

Actress Rani Mukerji is busy with the shoot of her upcoming movie ‘Mardaani 2’. The actress is in Rajasthan since past month shooting for the YRF movie there. The actress known for her affable nature has forged a bond with the crew members. Recently on the last day of the shoot, she was given a special gift by art director Babu Saini.

On the last day of the shooting schedule, the art director Babu Saini gave Rani a special painting made by him. Babu is also a renowned painter in Jaipur and he decided to appreciate the actor and her work via a painting.

As reported by a source to India today, “Rani Mukerji and Babu Saini have worked together in a number of films. He gifted her a special painting. He painted her in her Mardaani 2 look, a film she is very proud of. She was overwhelmed and informed him she will put it up in her house. It also shows the kind of affection and appreciation and respect technicians and crew members have for Rani as a person and her body of work.”

On the work front, Rani Mukerji has wrapped up a major chunk of ‘Mardaani 2’. The final schedule of the film will be wrapped up in Mumbai at Yash Raj Studios. Rani will be seen reprising her role of Shivani Shivaji Roy, Superintendent of Police. In the earlier film, Rani busted a child trafficking racket, but in this film, she deals with a new enemy.

Helmed by a debutante director, Gopi Puthran, ‘Mardaani 2’ is slated to release by the end of the year.
