Yesterday, the Mumbai police booked actor Alok Nath under section 376 of IPC (rape) after writer-producer Vinta Nanda filed a complaint against him. We now have an FIR being filed against Bollywood casting director Vicky Sidana days after the sexual harassment allegations levelled against him by actress Kritika Sharma.

As per ANI, the case has been filed under sections 354, 509 and 406 of IPC by the Versova police.

Actress Kritika Sharma had accused Vicky of sexually assaulting her six years ago in an interview to Zoom. She had claimed that she first met Vicky in Delhi while auditioning for a role about six years ago. She later came to Mumbai for work and had to stay at Vicky’s house as she faced financial constraints. The actor had said that she felt it would be safe as Vicky stayed with his wife. But he raped her after taking her to an empty apartment.

However, Vicky has vehemently denied all the allegations made by Kritika. He even issued a statement asking journalists to refrain from publishing any defamatory articles against him.
