Salman Khan — who is currently busy hosting a dance reality show Nach Baliye 9 — which is produced by himself has announced to produce yet another movie, Bulbul Marriage Hall. Yes, apart from acting in Hindi movies, Salman Khan has been taking his production venture to a new height ever since he launched his own banned SKF – Salman Khan Khan Films.
According to Pinkvilla, the makers have already cast the leading actress of Bulbul Marriage Hall. Yes, Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame Nushrat Barucha will play the lead role Bulbul Marriage Hall while the leading male actor is yet to be finalised.
Speaking about Nushrat Barucha’s role in Bulbul Marriage Hall, a source told the Entertainment website, “Nushrat Bharucha has been roped in to play the prime protagonist for the movie. Jordy had discussed the idea with Nushrat and she loved the way it was written. It’s a mad cap family film that will tickle your funny bones and that’s what appealed to Nushrat. The film revolves around two brothers and a marriage hall but the character of the girl binds the film together.”
Talking about the male lead actor, the source added, “The team is in talks with two actors to play the male leads. Once they are locked, they plan to make an official announcement.”
Bulbul Marriage Hall will be presented by SKF and produced by his manager Jordy Patel. The film is set in Delhi. The film will be directed by Rohit Nayyar who had earlier directed many movies including Shadow and Aasma – The sky is the limit.
The film is likely to go on floors by the end of this year.
