Sonakshi Sinha reveals how Salman Khan inspired her to lose weight for Dabangg
Sonakshi Sinha opened up about how Salman Khan pushed her to lose weight.
Bollywood diva Sonakshi Sinha, who made her debut with Dabangg in 2010, has revealed how Salman Khan inspired her to lose weight for her Hindi film debut. Sonakshi Singh is currently busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Khaandani Shafakhana’, which is ready to hit the theatres on this Friday.

In order to promote her upcoming film, she recently appeared at Kapil Sharma’s comedy show named ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. At the same show, Sonakshi disclosed that how Salman Khan walked up to her during a fashion show where she was working as an audience manager and asked her to lose weight as he wanted to cast her for Dabangg.
Salman Khan, who was a part of the audience, had approached her asking her to lose weight as he was looking forward to taking her on board in one of his movies. Sonakshi has also shared that acting in films was never her plan until Salman showed faith in her.
The Akira actress also said that she could not give a treat to Salman Khan as she did not have enough money. She said that she had only 3,000 and she was too embarrassed to take him out.
Sonakshi Sinha will also be seen in the multi starrer film, ‘Mission Mangal, which is all set to release on 15th August 2019. She is making her comeback in Dabangg franchise as ‘Rajjo’ in Dabangg 3 which will be directed by Prabhudeva. This film is said to hit the theatres on Christmas 2019. The actress is also working on her upcoming movie ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ which will be releasing in the year 2020.
