PM Narendra Modi Finally Gets A Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin Vaccine

After India began its nationwide Coronavirus vaccine drive for the frontline workers, the vaccine doses were given to the hospital staff, government employees and selective people from different sectors. The Indian government began the nationwide vaccination ride in a strategic way and now politicians have also started taking their vaccine shots. PM Narendra Modi finally takes the Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin vaccine, as the health department starts giving vaccines to people are above 50 years of age.

PM Narendra Modi is 70-year-old and he received his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Monday in New Delhi. Prime Minister took to his official Twitter handle and shared a cryptic post. He also urged people who are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccines to take their respective doses soon. He shared a picture of himself from the hospital, wherein he appears taking the first doses.

The nationwide Coronavirus vaccination drive had begun two months ago, but apparently, the vaccinations were given selectively for the age above 50. It is now open for senior citizens and people with comorbidities who are in the age group of 45 to 59 years. Those who are eligible for vaccination under this age group category can register on the CoWIN app or they can also simply walk into a vaccination center without registration to get the shots.
