The Desi Girl of Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra is known for inspiring millions of people with the way she leads her life. She has many blockbuster films to her credit. The actress’s cousin sister, Meera Chopra reveals that she has not got any work because of PeeCee. In her recent conversation, Meera confessed that being PeeCee’s relative has not ‘helped her’ in any way.
“The only time when I came to Bollywood there was a buzz that Priyanka Chopra’s sister is also coming but honestly I have not faced many comparisons. I have not got any work because of Priyanka. If I needed a producer, they have not cast me as I am her sister. Honestly, being related to her has not helped me in my career but it has really helped me in a way that people did take me seriously,” Meera Chopra confessed to Zoom TV.
Meera further explained that people did not take her for granted as they knew she was coming from a family who knew cinema. She confesses that is the only privilege she received for being related to PeeCee. She stated otherwise she would have to struggle like a newcomer in the industry.
For the unversed, Meera Chopra has appeared in Telugu and Tamil films alongside Bollywood flicks. Her recent Hindi film was Section 375 also starring Richa Chaddha and Akshaye Khanna. Meera has Nastik in the pipeline which features Arjun Rampal, Harshaali Malhotra and few others in the key roles.
