Global icon Priyanka Chopra‘s recent emotional post will leave you moist-eyed. The Diva has penned a heartfelt post for her late father Ashok Chopra. Priyanka’s father passed away on June 10, 2013. The ‘Quantico’ actress was known to be very close to her father.

Every year the actress shares a post dedicated to her father. This year too, she took to her Instagram account and shared a post to convey to her father, that she misses him. This year she has shared a throwback picture and written, “6 years. Seems Like just yesterday we lost you.. I miss you Dad. Inexplicably.”

Priyanka Chopra like all the daughters shared a close bond with her father. Her words in the post reveal how deeply she misses the presence of her father in her life.

Her hubby Nick Jonas soon dropped by in the comments and left her a heart, reminding her, that’s he’s got her back. Her father-in-law Papa Jones too commented that the family is there for her always.

At present Priyanka Chopra is in India and is having a “Chopra Fam Jam” ahead of her mother’s birthday. On Saturday, the actress took to Instagram to share pictures with her mother Madhu Chopra, cousin and actor Parineeti Chopra and her brother Siddharth.

She wrote, “The Chopra FamJam ! Happy early birthday ma.. we love you!! @siddharthchopra89 #kunalbhogal @parineetichopra @madhumalati.”

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be next seen in ‘The Sky is Pink’, directed by Shonali Bose. The movie also features Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in the lead roles. The storyline of the movie is based on Aisha Chaudhary, a motivational speaker who gets diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. This biographical movie is scheduled to be released on October 11, 2019.

She is also in talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his next.
