Priyanka Chopra is someone who always surprises you with her candid answers during an interview. Back in 2018, she graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia and took a dig at US President Donald Trump.
In the same interview, the Quantico actress was questioned, “Who should be the next President of the United States of America?” To which, she replied, “Anybody will do at this point. And I don’t even need to explain why.”
Even though the actress did not mention the US President Donald Trump‘s name but it was pretty obvious that she took a dig at him.
Well, this ain’t the first time that she took a dig at him. In 2017, PeeCee won the People’s Choice Awards for Favourite Dramatic TV actress twice in a row for her role of Alex Parrish on the popular TV show and a reporter asked the star about her “thoughts on new president-elect Donald trump, kinda scary?” To which she replied, “I am an Indian. Are you scared?” The interviewer answered to it saying, “No, but a lot of foreigners are!”
Recently, the Dostana actress was a part of the Global Citizen concert with other artists like Shah Rukh Khan, Lady Gaga and others. The actress has also been using her social media handles to raise awareness about the COVID 19 pandemic and has also pledged her support to several initiatives.
On the professional front, Priyanka was last seen in Shonali Bose’s biological comedy-drama film The Sky Is Pink along with Farhan Akhtar, Rohit Saraf, and Zaira Wasim.
