Legendary superstars of Kollywood Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are loved by their fans. Many of them have wished time and again to see them onscreen together. Well, seems like their wish is all set to be granted. Yes, the unbeaten superstars of the South film industry are set to share screen space. Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth may team up after a long gap of 40 years and the credit goes to Khaidi director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Lokesh is currently director ‘Bigil’ star Vijay’s next and is reportedly planning to work with Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth in the future.
As reported by Tollywood.net, Director Lokesh Kanagaraj who is basking in the glory of his recently released directorial venture Khaidi is planning to work with the two superstars- Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. If everything goes according to plans then the two pillars of South Industry will team up for one of the biggest movies in Kollywood.
Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are two pillars of Kollywood. Kamal Hasan was already an established actor when Rajinikanth made his debut as an actor. Both have worked in 9 Tamil movies, 2 Telugu movies and in 1 Hindi movie together. Their popular movies are Thillu Mullu, inaithaley Inikum, Thaayillamal Naan Illai, and Ilamai Oonjal Aadukirathu.
On the work front, Rajinikanth is waiting for the release of his upcoming cop based drama Darbar. The movie also features lady superstar Nayantara and is directed by AR Murugadoss. It is slated to hit the theaters on the occasion of Pongal.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is busy in the shoot of Indian 2, which is being directed by Shankar which has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead.
