Today would marks the historic moment with the laying of foundation stone at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. He laid the silver brick at Bhagwan Shri Ramlalla Virajman and concluded the ‘bhoomi pujan’. The grand event he also performed a pooj and planted the sacred Parijat sapling. “It’ll become a symbol of our devotion, our national sentiment. This temple will also symbolise the power of collective resolution of crores of people. It will keep inspiring the future generations,” said PM while addressing the attendees at the puja.
