Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pretty much gearing up for his next project titled ‘Inshallah’ with Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan in the lead. We also hear that, alongside this film, he will also be producing another film, which is said to be a mystery thriller.
The film will be directed by Balwinder Singh while Sanjay Leela Bhansali produces it. Apparently, it’s going to be Randeep Hooda playing the lead role in this project. Balwinder Singh had previously scripted down ‘Mubarakan’ and Tushar Hiranandani-directed ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ featuring Taapse Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar.
The film is going to be a mystery thriller and is set in a small town. As per sources as said to the Mumbai Mirror, “Randeep plays a cop in the film which has a lot of twists and turns. Balwinder has been working on the script for a long time and recently started pre-production. He will start the recce shortly. The Randeep had played a cop previously in ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’, ‘Kick’, ‘Jannat 2’ and ‘Baaghi 2’.
The actor was last seen in ‘Baaghi 2’. Randeep will also be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s tentatively titled ‘Aajkal’ alongside Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan. He will also be seen alongside Hollywood actor ‘Chris Hemsworth’ in ‘Dhaka’.
