Zayn Malik is ready to start a new chapter in his life. The former One Direction member is expecting his first child with Gigi Hadid. Fans of the adorable duo are also excited to meet the newest addition to their family. However, before Zayn Malik began dating Gigi Hadid in 2015, he briefly dated Rebecca Ferguson for four months in 2011 before the two split up.
Now, the ‘Pillowtalk’ singer’s former flame has come forward to address the pregnancy news while talking to OK! Magazine recently. She stated that she does not want to indulge in any negativity. Moreover, she does not want to say something nasty for the expectant mother.
“I’m really mindful about what I say, for Gigi. If I was pregnant, I’d never want to hear my baby father’s ex talking about me and my pregnancy,” she said.
Ferguson further added, “So all I’ll say is, any baby news is good news because it means a lovely little life is coming into the world.”
Rebecca Ferguson, who is an X-Factor runner-up, stayed away from saying anything demeaning or hurtful about the supermodel. She simply said, “I don’t want to disrespect Gigi on their lovely relationship”.
On the work front, Malik last released a collaboration with Dutch DJ and producer R3hab and British DJ Jungleboi on 15 November 2019. He also recorded a cover version of “A Whole New World” with Zhavia Ward for the soundtrack to the 2019 film remake Aladdin. He also released a bilingual English and Spanish version, “Un Mundo Ideal” with Becky G.
In the completely Spanish version, he performed the song with Aitana.
