Kanika Kapoor has been hitting the headlines ever since she has been tested positive for Coronavirus. As per the reports, the ‘Baby Doll’ singer attended a bash in Lucknow from London a few days ago. Moreover, there were reports claiming that Kanika Kapoor had hidden her travel history from the authorities.
On the other hand, a week ago, founder of crisis-ridden Yes Bank, Rana Kapoor was jailed for money laundering. Now, Rishi Kapoor took to his Twitter handle and commented on how the “Kapoor” are having a tough time, he tweeted, “Aaj kal kuch “Kapoor”logon pe time bhaari hai. Darta hoon. Hey Malik raksha karna doosre “Kapoor-on”ki! Koi galat kaam na ho kabhi. Jai Mata Di!”
In another tweet, he also questioned the Taj hotel for not screening, “Think. Chalo Delhi airport se to nikal gayi. Why an establishment like The Taj Lucknow Hotel didn’t have the facility to screen visitors? After all the Taj is a huge name and a property. Surely they could have detected!” he tweeted
Kanika’s father Rajiv Kapoor spoke to Aaj Tak and said that her daughter came in contact with around 400 people at the three various parties in Lucknow. However, the singer refused her father’s claims and said that she was a part of only one family get-together.
However, Kanika also dismissed the allegations of her escaping the screening process at the airport, she told India Today TV, “I am an educated and hardworking girl. I was part of the scanning process at the airport. I also called the CMO to check me and filled all forms at the airport.”
Kanika Kapoor also informed her fans about her well-being in an Instagram post and said that she is feeling okay, but has a mild fever and normal flu.
