The makers of ‘Roohi’ have dropped the much-awaited anticipated first song of the movie, ‘Panghat.’ The star cast of the film includes Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Varun Sharma. On Saturday, the makers dropped an intriguing glimpse from the upcoming song.

In the video, Janhvi Kapoor looks oh-so-beautiful in her bridal avatar as she temptress her dulhas, and burns the dance floor with her moves, while Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma are seen approaching her. The song is fun and perfectly encapsulates the appeal that Janhvi Kapoor’s character had in the trailer. It is touted to be the coolest anthem of the year.
‘Panghat’ is sung by Asees Kaur, the artist who voiced tracks like Makhna, Ve Maahi, Hui Malang, Bolna, and more. The music will be composed by popular duo Sachin-Jigar, with the lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and rap is done by Mellow D.
The film’s trailer was released a few days back and it has received love from various netizens as well as from Bollywood celebrities.
The forthcoming horror-comedy is being helmed by ‘Kaamyaab’ director Hardik Mehta. A Jio Studios Presentation, ‘Roohi’ is being produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. The film marks the first-ever collaboration of Rajkummar and Janhvi while the second collaboration of Rajkummar and Varun after sharing screen space in the 2015 release ‘Dolly Ki Doli’.
‘Roohi’ is set to hit the theatres on March 11, this year.
