The trailer Love Aaj Kal was released yesterday and received diverse responses. The film starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan was compared to that of the original Love Aaj Kal starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead role.
Saif is currently promoting his upcoming film titled‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ which releases on January 31. During an interaction with Indian Express, he was questioned if he liked the trailer of the new ‘Love Aaj Kal.’ To which he replied saying, “Wishing luck to the film’s crew and his daughter”
Saif Ali Khan stated, “I don’t know why I still remember shooting for Love Aaj Kal. I saw the trailer, and obviously, I wish them all the best. I wish Sara the best for everything she does because she is my daughter.”
Responding to the trailer, Saif added, “I kind of like my film’s trailer more. What to say, but I wish them all the best.”
Earlier, talking about the new Love Aaj Kal, Saif spoke to Hindustan Times and said, I don’t think Love Aaj Kal is my legacy at all. I don’t think of it as Sara taking the franchise forward. That’s an interesting thought, which I hadn’t thought before. I think if anything, it’s Imtiaz’s franchise and his legacy that perhaps he is taking forward, I was just a part of it.”
Meanwhile, Kartik and Sara’s film will be hitting the screens on, February 14, 2020, that is Valentine’s Day. This is the duo’s first film together and also with Imtiaz.
