Saif Ali Khan to make a small screen debut with Dipika Kakkar’s new show

Saif Ali Khan after flooring fans with his performance in web series ‘Sacred Games’ is all set for his small screen debut. The actor will be seen making his debut on the small screen in a show that has Bigg Boss 12 Winner Dipika Kakkar and Karan V Grover in the lead roles.

As per Mumbai Mirror report, “Saif Ali Khan will be introducing the couple on the show and will also be the voiceover for Dipika. Saif shot a sequence at Mehboob Studio in Bandra, where the leads are deciding where to go on a date. He shot alone for the part which featured a monologue and involved voice modulation as he is also shown giving voiceover for the female protagonist. The shoot went on for four-five hours.”

The new show is a love story produced by Sandip Sikcand. It marks the return of Dipika of ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ fame after a gap of two years. She is playing an actress to Karan’s cardiologist. The show will go on air sometime next week.

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan has Nitin Kakkar’s upcoming release ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’. The movie also features Tabu and marks the debut of Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaia Furniturewalla. The film goes on the floors next month and the first schedule will be shot in London for 45 days. Saif also has Ajay Devgn’s period drama ‘Taanaji’ in his kitty. He is depicting the role of an antagonist in the movie.

Saif will also be seen in the second season of the most waited for ‘Sacred Games’ which was announced recently. Recently the makers have unveiled the teaser of the film that created a buzz on social media.
