The film will be a remake of Meena Kumari’s ‘Baiju Bawra’, which was released in 1952.

Salman and Shah Rukh have earlier worked together in a few movies but later they stopped working together due to their enmity. However, a few months back, both the superstars had buried their difference and started making appearances on the silver screen together. For the uninitiated, SRK had a cameo in Bhajan’s ‘Tubelight while Salman did a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’ as well.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s last movie which starred Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Shahid Kapoor turned out to be a blockbuster. He is currently thinking of making a romantic film Salman Khan. But, now there are reports doing the rounds that Shah Rukh Khan will also play a crucial role in the film.

According to leading entertainment portals, Bhansali has registered three titles – “Dil De Diya Inshallah”, “Pyar Ho Gaya Inshallah” and “Gangubai” along with three other titles – “Baijnath”, “Baiju” and “Baiju Tansen” for “Baiju Bawra” remake.

Talking about ‘Biaju Bawra’, it was directed by Vijay Bhatt and produced by Prakash pictures. Due to her stellar performance in the film, Meena Kumari won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. The film turned out to be a blockbuster film and had a mighty run of more than 100 weeks in the theatres. If the reports are to be believed, Bhansali wants to unite the two superstars for the remake of Baiju Bawra.
