Kubbra Sait, who was last seen in Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Gully Boy’, has recently revealed an incident when she went to give an audition for ‘Ready’. Yes, do you remember Kubbra, she played the role of a maid in Salman Khan and Asin starrer ‘Ready’. It is to be noted that ‘Ready’ was her first movie in Bollywood when she migrated to Mumbai to become an actress.

Kubbra Sait was also seen in India’s first original online show Sacred Game, which featured Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte in a significant role. In Sacred Games, she played the role of Kuckoo ( a transgender woman who was important in Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s life). Her role in the show as a transgender was largely appreciated.
At a recent event, she revealed that how Salman Khan made fun of her and teased by saying “You were ready maid for this role.”
Directed by Anees Bazmee, ‘Ready’ had appearances of Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Arbaaz Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Mahesh Manjrekar and others. ‘Ready’ was not the only film in which she appeared along with Salman, in ‘Sultan’, she had a role as host too.
Talking about Kubbra Sait, she has completed her graduation in the Entertainment industry. She moved to Dubai and started her career as an account manager with Microsoft in Dubai before pursuing graduation. She is also a winner of India’s best female Emcee Award in 2013.
