Vicky Kaushal starrer Sardar Udham is one of the much-awaited films. The movie that is based on the life of freedom fighter Udham Singh is all set to release. Amazon Prime has announced that the Shoojit Sircar directorial will premiere on its platform this October.
Sardar Udham is a biopic on freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh. He had assassinated Michael O’Dwyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab in British India in 1940. It was to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

Sardar Udham showcases the journey of a gallant man who made sure the world never forgets the lives of his beloved brethren who were brutally killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of 1919, the streamer said in a statement.
The movie has been produced by Rising Sun Films in collaboration with Kino Works. Sardar Udham also features Banita Sandhu and Amol Parasher in pivotal roles.
