SRK and Priyanka Chopra To Join Lady Gaga, Elton John & Others To Raise Funds For COVID-19

The whole world has come together to fight the outbreak of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Several countries have also been locked down to curb the spread of the new virus as there is no cure for the disease yet. The World Health Organization (WHO) is all set to live stream an event of performances to raise funds to fight the virus. Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra will also be part of a global effort to raise funds to tackle COVID-19. The event will see other international stars such as Lady Gaga and Elton John join as well.

WHO has titled the event as ‘ONE WORLD: TOGETHER AT HOME’.  It will be hosted by popular talk show hosts like Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy Kimmel. WHO has titled the event as ‘ONE WORLD: TOGETHER AT HOME’.  John Legend, David Beckham, Idris Elba and many more too are a part of the event.

Artists around the world have come forwards and contributed to various funds raised to tackle the pandemic. Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra are also doing their bit to raise awareness and contribute funds. Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas have donated to organizations like the PM-CARES Fund, Unicef, Feeding America, and Goonj among many others. SRK, on the other hand, contributed to the PM-CARES Fund through IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and would also make a donation to the Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund.
