Sonu Sood Praised By Maharashtra’s Governer For Helping Migrants

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has proved that he is the real hero of the masses. The actor has been chartering buses to ferry stranded migrants to their hometowns in other states during the COVID-19 lockdown. The 46-year-old actor is being hailed for arranging the hassle-free passage of migrant labourers.

Fans and friends have been praising his act of generosity. Recently Sood met the governor of Maharastra Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan. The governor not only applauded Sood for his work but also assured him support.

Raj Bhavan statement said. “Film star @SonuSood called on at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai today. Shri Sood briefed about his ongoing work to help the migrant people to reach their home states and to provide them food. Applauded his great work and assured him of his fullest support in these endeavours.”

Sonu was humbled by the appreciation.

He replied: “Thank you so much sir. Your words inspire me to work harder. Will continue working for the migrant brothers and sisters till we unite them with their families… Honoured.”

Sonu recently airlifted a total of 177 women stuck in Kerala’s Ernakulam amid the nationwide lockdown. A special aircraft was arranged to take the girls from Kochi to Bhubhaneshwar.
