Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi is one of the highly anticipated film. This cop’s drama is being helmed by Rohit Shetty and it also features Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in the cameo roles. On the occasion of director’s birthday today the new release date has been unleashed. The film would be releasing in theaters in April this year.
Rohit Shetty fans have received a huge surprise on his 48th Birthday today. Akshay Kumar took to official Twitter handle and shared the update with the fans. The cops drama-Sooryavanshi to be released on April 30 in theaters this year. Kumar tweeted, “We promised you all a cinematic experience and that’s what you will get…the wait is finally over! Aa Rahi Hai PoliceWoman police officer #Sooryavanshi releasing worldwide in cinemas on 30th April 2021.” He posted this with a video showcasing how the trailer had received warm response from the audience, however due to the pandemic Coronavirus outspread the plans got changed.
The film was slated to be released in March last year. Owing to the pandemic Coronavirus outspread Sooryavanshi has been delayed by one year to hit the theaters. This marks the third film in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe after Ajay Devgn’s Singham and Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba.
