The teaser trailer of Chris Rock and Samuel L Jackson starrer Spiral is out. It is the ninth installment in the “Saw” franchise. The Saw franchise was started by James Wan in 2004. The last installment Jigsaw released in 2017.
The teaser showcases detectives who get sucked into a case that is a stark reminder of the brutal murders that once plagued the city, but this time, it’s the cops that are being targeted.

The teaser introduces Rock’s brash detective and his rookie partner investigating grisly crime scenes that ring familiar to the city’s gruesome past. But they soon find out that they could be the next victim as well. Soon Samuel L Jackson enters the scene and gets a glimpse of the tools used by the unseen criminal mastermind, including chains and a jigsaw.
Spiral will be released in theaters on May 15.
