Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty have been summoned by the CBI team investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. The actress reached the DRDO guest house in Mumbai for interrogation. Rhea’s brother is accompanying the actress for questioning. He was grilled for 14 hours on Thursday.
The CBI has formed three teams to interrogate Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Siddharth Pithani, Neeraj, and Samuel Miranda. They will be grilled separately. One team is questioning Neeraj, Siddharth Pithani, and Samuel Miranda together. The other is grilling Rhea Chakraborty for the first time. The third team is questioning Showik Chakraborty. Rhea’s brother was grilled for 14 hours by the CBI on Thursday too.
Rhea Chakraborty will be questioned based on the statements of Sushant Singh Rajput’s cook Neeraj, Siddharth Pithani, Dipesh Sawant, and others. The actress will also be questioned about what happened in the Waterstone resort where she was staying with Sushant.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s family had filed an FIR against Rhea and others at Patna’s Rajiv Nagar Police Station. On August 19, the Supreme Court allowed the CBI to investigate the case. The CBI is currently probing the case in Mumbai. The Enforcement Directorate and Narcotics Control Bureau are also carrying out investigations.
