Sumeet Vyas and Ekta Kaul, one of the entertainment industry’s most-loved couples, has welcomed a baby boy. The couple named their little bundle of joy Ved. The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ star took to social media and shared the good news with his fans.
Sharing a baby emoji, Sumeet wrote, “It’s a boy. Shall be called VED. Mamma and daddy are acting cliche… smothering the child every few minutes…”

Earlier, Ekta had shared a video of all the beautiful moments spent with her hubby. She had captioned it as, “Our world is about to change. But my life has changed because of you. I am so thankful that we get to go on this ride together. So before all the screaming and diaper changing begins, I just want to say PAPA you are beautiful. Thank You !! @sumeetvyas.
Sumeet and Ekta tied the knot in September 2018 in the presence of their close friends and family in Jammu. The couple announced that they were expecting their firstborn with a sweet Instagram post in April.
Ekta has featured in TV shows like ‘Rab Se Sohna Isshq’ and ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’. Sumeet was seen in ‘Made in China’. He rose to fame with his role in TVF series ‘Permanent Roommates’. He was also seen in ‘Veere Di Wedding’ as Kareena’s to-be-husband.
