and Shakira rocked the stage with their performance at the historic Super Bowl 2020 Halftime Show on Sunday evening at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. They danced and shimmied with a megamix of their hits.

It was a rollicking, festive show that was highlighted the performers and super-charged by guest appearances from fellow Latin artists Bad Bunny and J Balvin.v

Shakira kicked things off, dressed in glittering red with a veritable army of female dancers at her command. She ran through her biggest songs, including “She Wolf,” “Whenever, Wherever” and “Hips Don’t Lie.”

Lopez kicked off with her classic song “Jenny from the Block ”. But the highlight came after Lopez made a costume change to a sparkling bodysuit and sang “Waiting for Tonight” while pole dancing.

The explosive final segment began with Lopez’s daughter, Emme Maribel Muñiz, and a choir of children — some of them in lighted cages — singing Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud”.

A snippet of Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the U.S.A.,” as Lopez appeared wrapped in a feathered American flag cape that reversed to a Puerto Rican flag.

Jennifer Lopez was born in the Bronx but has reveled in her Puerto Rican roots, recording hits in Spanish and English. Shakira made her way from Colombia to international pop stardom.
