Bollywood was hit by a jolt on Sunday morning as news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise was out. The MS Dhoni star reportedly committed suicide at his Bandra home. He was just 34 years old. Sushant‘s funeral will be taking place in Mumbai today.
Sushant Singh’s family said to India Today Tv that the actor’s funeral is to take place in Mumbai on Monday after his father will fly down to the city from Patna.
Sushant was found hanging in his room by his househelp. The police are still investigating the reason behind his suicide. So far, they have not found any suspicious object. Nor have they found any suicide note. They have recovered some items including his medical records for investigation. Police have said that the actor was seeking psychiatric help.
Sushant‘s body was taken to Cooper hospital in Mumbai where the police conducted a postmortem. The reports are finally out and it is confirmed that Sushant’s reason for death was suicide. The actor was said to be under stress and depression for the last six months. The actor was also confirmed Covid-19 negative.
Sushant Singh Rajput was born in Patna in 1986. His ancestral village is in Bihar’s Purnea. Sushant lost his mother when he was only 16 years old. He started his career with television serials. The actor made his film debut with Kai Po Che! in 2013. He was also seen in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath, Chhichhore, and more.
