Tollywood actor Manchu Vishnu won the seat of MAA Elections. He was elected as the new President of Movie Artists Association (MAA). The actor defeated his opponent actor Prakash Raj by a huge margin. Vishnu, son of veteran actor Mohan Babu, defeated Prakash Raj by 106 votes.
The day after the victory, Manchu Vishnu on Monday tweeted. He says that he is humbled by the love and support from the film fraternity.
MAA election officer Krishna Mohan announced the poll results on Sunday night. Vishnu polled 380 votes while Prakash Raj secured 274 votes.
Megastar Chiranjeevi took to Twitter to congratulate Vishnu and other members of the new body.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, Power Star Pawan Kalyan , veteran actors Nandamuri Balakrishna, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Mohan Babu, Ramcharan , Roja, Ali, Jayaprada, Genelia Desouza, Giribabu, Akhil Akkineni, Nani and Priyamani had cast their votes in the elections.
