Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan Passed Away At The Age Of 74

In an unfortunate turn of events today, Union Minister and the founder of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Ram Vilas Paswan breathed his last. He was 74-year-old and he had underwent a heart surgery in a Delhi hospital. His son, Chirag shared the sad news of his father’s passing away on Twitter.

Ram Vilas Paswan served the nation as the Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution in the Narendra Modi led government. He was one of the country’s most noted Dalit leaders known for having great number of followers, after his contribution towards social activities. Apparently, he had been hospitalised for the last few weeks, before he breathed his last.

“Papa… Now you are not in this world but I know you are always with me wherever you are. Miss you Papa,” read his son’s Twitter post in Hindi. Chirag Paswan has also shared a throwback picture of his father.

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi took to his Twitter handle and shared an heartfelt note remembering late Ram Vilas Paswan.
