A man in the US stabbed his wife to death as his wife was a big fan of Hrithik Roshan. After stabbing her, he then hanged himself as he was jealous of her obsession over Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan. The man named Dineshwar Budhidat from Queens stabbed his wife Donne Dojoy working as bartender.
According to a news report, he stabbed his wife to death and then hanged himself from a tree on Friday. Apparently, Budhidat was ‘extremely jealous’ as his wife was a big fan of Hrithik Roshan. Meanwhile, Dojoy’s friends informed The Post that her crushing over the actor sent him into fits of rage.
“She told me when she was at home watching a movie or listening to a song (with Hrithik in it), he would ask her to take it off because he would get so jealous.” said Mala Ramdhani, a karaoke singer at Gemini’s Ultra Lounge in Ozone Park, where Dojoy tended the bar.
Moreover, the reported stated that Dojoy moved out of the apartment where she formerly lived with her husband however, she agreed to stop by the place to watch a film along with Budhidat. Though, later in the evening, Budhidat messages his wife’s sister saying he killed her whereby instructing her that key to the apartment was under a flower pot. The police sources reportedly said on Friday. After that he left behind his wife’s stabbed body and hung himself from a tree in a field nearby.
Not only that, The New York Daily reported of the fact that Budhidat assaulted her weeks after they were married in the month of July. Later on, Dojoy had order of protection against him that came in a court case which also stemmed from his arrest back in the month of August for strangling and slapping Dojoy a week before inside their Queens apartment.
