Kareena Kapoor Khan and ‘Veere Di Wedding’ producer Rhea Kapoor reunited at that actress’ radio show ‘What Women Want’ and during a segment on the show, she opened up about the sequel of the film and shared some details about Bebo’s character in ‘Veere Di Wedding 2’
In the last segment of the radio show, Kareena Kapoor Khan played an entertaining game with Rhea and questioned her which member of her family would fit in various fields. After a bunch of jobs like masseuse, carpenter, and therapist, Kareena asked Rhea who would make for the best stripper, which left Rhea shocked. Bebo then said, “I think you should take this.”
Rhea then said, “I think I should take this. I have taken it and I think Kalindi is becoming a stripper in Veere Di Wedding 2. I have given breaking news.” Kareena then replies, “I think you are the eternal stripper because you are always like, ‘Show something, wear sleeveless, show some skin…’ So that’s it, you are that type. You are an exhibitionist.”
Confirming the sequel to ‘Veere Di Wedding‘ during an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on social media. Rhea replied to one of the fans stating, “I think it’s gonna happen actually. It might happen sooner than I thought it would happen. But things look good. I am excited.”
The 2018 buddy-comedy film starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Sikha Talsania in the lead roles. It appeared as one of the highest-grossing Hindi films, with earnings of more than Rs 100 crore worldwide.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress will be seen next in Karan Johar‘s action period drama, ‘Takht’ with Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal and Janhvi Kapoor. Apart from this, the 39-year-old-actress will also be a part of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Aamir Khan.
