Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is all set to walk down the aisle with the man of her dreams actor Vicky Kaushal. Rumours of the lovebirds tying the knot this December is getting strong with each passing day. As per reports, Vicky and Kat are all set to get married in Rajasthan between December 7 to 9. Reportedly the lovebirds have recently had a small intimate Roka ceremony.
As per India Today reports, A source told them that a special ceremony was held at Katrina’s friend and Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur’s home. Katrina has worked with Kabir in New York and Ek Tha Tiger. She also considers him her rakhi brother. The ceremony was performed with only family members present. Katrina’s mom, Suzanne Turquoette, her sister, Isabelle Kaif. Vicky’s parents, Sham Kaushal and Veena Kaushal. Vicky’s brother Sunny Kaushal was also present at the ceremony.
The report further adds, “It was a beautiful roka. There were lights and decorations and Katrina looked stunning in her lehenga. Since the Diwali dates were auspicious muhurat, the families decided to go ahead with the ceremony. Kabir and Mini are almost like family to Katrina and they were the most gracious hosts.”
For the unversed Roka is a ceremony performed before marriage to signify the bond between the future couple to be and lock the wedding ceremony.
Reportedly it is a December wedding for the couple but they have sent no invite to their friends as yet. But apparently, the two have asked their friends to keep their schedules free in December.
There has been no official confirmation of the same from Vicky or Katrina as yet.
