Akhilesh Yadav studied in Sainik School in Dhaulpur, Rajasthan, and did his Bachelor of Engineering and Masters of Engineering in Civil Environment Engineering at the University of Mysore in Karnataka.

Akhilesh Yadav also holds a Master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Sydney in Australia.

Akhilesh and Dimple have three children – Aditi and twins, Arjun and Tina.

Akhilesh Yadav was very sporty and was always interested in playing games. When he was in Itava, he would play with his brother daily. He would wake up early in the morning and when his brothers didn’t wake up, he would continuously knock the door loudly to wake them up.

Akhilesh Yadav completed his engineering from Mysore. He would go to have tea in a nearby tea stall daily where a tea vendor ‘Chandu’ taught him Kannad. Akhilesh adored him very much and had addressed a small speech in Kannad, in his college.
