Beauty products made of cow dung, urine to be sold online soon

Amazon to launch beauty products made of cow dung and urine soon, as they have tied up with RSS based firm Deen Dayal Dham in Mathura

Buying homes appliances to books to food items were on the top priorities of online shoppers in India till now. But, soon Amazon is going to sell beauty products — soaps, face packs and shampoos — and medicinal products made from cow urine and dung. Sounds weird! Don’t be.

Amazon India is all set to sell the beauty and medical products made up from cow urine and dung. As per a report published in NDTV, the e-commerce major has tied up with Deen Dayal Dham, a centre run by the RSS in Farah town of Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. The manager of the centre, Ghanshyam Gupta, informed that they had a formal agreement with Amazon, in which they will first put up a dozen products related to health, beauty and apparel on the website for sale.

Gupta said, as the news website quotes, “We had a discussion about this with Amazon a few days ago. After a week or so, advertisements of our products will reflect on Amazon’s website and people will be able to order our products through it.” He further adds, “As soon as an order is placed on Amazon, the website will inform us and accordingly, the goods will be dispatched from our centre here.”

Associated with the firm for more than two decades, Gupta said that mostly women living in nearby villages are working with Deen Dayal Kamdhenu Gaushala pharmacy, which specialises in pharmacy products like Ghanvati, used for the treatment of general fever and building immunity, panchvagya churn and chayawanprash. Adding on, they do make the kurtas, which were popularised by PM Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.

Knowing that Amazon’s door-stop delivery is not available in the vicinity, the firm has already collaborated with Indian Postal Department for speedy delivery. Informing more, Gupta said, “Amazon’s courier service is currently not available here. So we have signed an agreement with the Indian Postal Department and it has ensured that the products will be delivered within 10 days.”
