‘Clueless’ actress Stacey Dash was arrested after being charged with domestic battery. The 52-year-old actress allegedly getting into a fight with her husband Jeffery Marty. Stacey was taken into custody on Sunday night at her home in Pasco County in Florida. She was handcuffed and led to a police car and was held on a $500 bond for “scratching and slapping” her new husband on Sunday night.
As reported by DailyMail, a Pasco County Sheriff’s Office report said the 52-year-old actress is facing a domestic battery charge. The reports say no alcohol or drugs were involved. Dash is accused of pushing and slapping her husband in the face, according to the arrest report. When police arrived they reported seeing ‘red scratch marks on her husbands left upper arm’
The report further adds, Dash claims her husband attacked her first when he tried to choke her and that he obtained the scratches when she fought back. Dash alleges that she called 911 herself but was arrested because she didn’t have any marks on her. The couple got married at a secret ceremony on April 6 last year after just 10 days of dating. Dash was released on bail on Monday morning.
Stacey has two children: a 16-year-old daughter and 27-year-old son – from previous relationships.
Stacey is known for her role as Dionne Davenport in ‘Clueless,’> She also has film and television credits beginning in the 1980s. An outspoken Republican Stacey also worked as a Fox News commentator from 2014 to 2017. She had announced that she will run for Republican for California’s 44th district in February 2018 but withdrew from the congressional race just a month later.
