Delhi police to file chargesheet on Arvind Kejriwal soon

Arvind Kejriwal will be chrgesheeted soon by the Delhi police in the Anshu Prakash alleged harassment case of February 19

The Delhi police is in a mood for action again. Acting on a complaint, the Delhi police is all set frame charges against Aam Aadmi Party  convener and Chief Minster Arvind Kejriwal and deputy Manish Sisodia for allegedly attacking the Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash on February. Along with criminal conspiracy charges, the Delhi police have prepared a charge-sheet, with all the necessary evidences and all set to file it soon.

Prakash had alleged that not only he was manhandled, but also have said that was assaulted by two leading ministers of the Delhi government at a late night meeting on February 19.  Soon after that, Kejriwal was questioned for his role in the incident and his house was searched twice. Though Kejriwal had said that the charges framed over him are false and politically motivated, but have also made his stance clear that he will cooperate with the investigative team, if need be.

However, Kejriwal – along with ministers Manish Sisodia, Satyender Jain and Gopal Rai – staged a nine-day-long sit-in protest in the Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal lobby, demanding the bureaucrats to stop their alleged boycott. The AAP leaders were demanding that the files were not being moved from table, but the IAS association had clarified that they are not boycotting any work.
