Prime Minister Narendra Modi today traveled to eastern Uttar Pradesh’s Sant Kabir Nagar district which is flourished with symbolism that is also seen to signal the launch of the BJP’s campaign for next year’s general elections in Uttar Pradesh.

Well back in 2014, PM Modi and his party chose Varanasi as the epicentre of his party’s campaign in UP. And witnessed by all he had won the Lok Sabha seat of Varanasi, considered among India’s most holy city.

Now for 2019, PM Modi has chosen Maghar – about 200 km from Varanasi – that has been considered, by the superstitious, as a ‘gateway to hell’. That anyone who died in Maghar would go straight to hell.

Observing from last year’s BJP Modi campaign for elections 2014, it represents a high on symbolism.

And relating the same theory, Maghar is a superstition place with the fact that in the 15th century poet and mystic Kabir who is known for his message of tolerance had sought to dispel when he traveled to Maghar to breathe his last.

Let’s go through the ten Ten Highlighting Points on PM Modi’s visit to Maghar:

2. PM Modi invokes foundation of Sant Kabir.

4. PM Modi takes a jibe at Samajwadi Party’s Akhilesh Yadav saying, “Some people are only concerned about power. They never worked towards the development of the society and the poor and Dalits”.

5. PM Modi in Maghar: There are some parties which do not want peace and development but only unrest. They think if there will be unrest, they will be politically benefitted.

6. He belives in Yogi’s contribution as he said, “There has been tremendous development ever since Yogi Adityanath took over as the chief minister of the state. A record number of houses have been constructed since then”.

7. Can the previous government give a count of the number of houses constructed for the poor and homeless? The previous government was interest in its own bungalow, PM Modi alleged former CMs.
