Gautam Adani Becomes Top Gainer of 2021; Leaves Behind Jeff Bezos & Elon Musk

Indian business tycoon Gautam Adani, the chairman and founder of the Adani Group has become the year’s biggest wealth gainer. He has left behind Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk. According to a report by Bloomberg, Gautam Adani has more wealth surge than Tesla founder Elon Musk and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, The net worth of Adani has jumped from $16.2 billion in 2021 to $50 billion. The surge in wealth dwarfs the $8.1 billion added by Adani’s compatriot and the richest person in Asia, Mukesh Ambani.(Reuters)

Bloomberg posted on Twitter “Indian tycoon Gautam Adani has added more billions to his wealth than anyone else in the world this year”.

Adani has been rapidly expanding his conglomerate, adding ports, airports, data centres and coal mines in India. Adani Enterprises Ltd. has also signed a pact to develop 1 gigawatt of data centre capacity in India. The six Adani Group companies have a combined market capitalization of Rs 6,23,246 crore. The shares of all Adani firms except one have rallied over 50% this year.
