Indian Version Of TikTok, Mitron Hits Five Millions Downloads Just In A Month

Short video streaming app, TikTok has created a booming trend in just the few years of its launch. Of late, this social media platform has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The Chinese app was slammed by Indian’s for its none strict policies. Time and again few users on TikTok were seen promoting violating content and the content was taken off when it attracted slamming. After netizens slam, this app, the Indian version of a short video streaming app, Mitron manages to garner users from all across. The Indian version of TikTok clocks five million downloads in just one month.

The application works pretty much like TikTok with its basic navigation and features. Apparently, a student of IIT Roorkee has developed the app ‘Mitron’, which is an exact replica of the popular Chinese app. It allows users to create their accounts and offers the interface to shoot, edit, and share videos with their videos. The app’s, ‘Mitron’ means ‘friends’, however, the word is also famous because PM Narendra Modi often uses this word while addressing his audience in India.

Talking about TikTok, despite attracting a lot of controversies, TikTok has been one of the top applications to compete with the top 10 applications. As per the reports, the Chinese app has its largest market in India. The application is not only famous in India, but also widely popular in Western countries.
