Rajasthan Assembly elections 2018: BJP neta Jaswant Singh Yadav calls Congress president Rahul Gandhi 'disturbed' politician for Rafale remarks

Rajasthan minister Jaswant Singh Yadav attacked Congress president Rahul Gandhi by calling him ‘disturbed’ politician, after his comments on Rafale fighter jets deal. Yadav alleged that Gandhi is making accusations of scams in the acquisition of fighter jets by the Union government, as Pakistan was not able to procure the Rafale deal.

Addressing a gathering in Alwar on Saturday, as quoted by ANI, “There was Rafale deal. These are fighter planes which are acquired after great difficulty. Pakistan did not acquire it. Rahul Gandhi is disturbed that Modi ji and not Pakistan received it.”

The BJP lawmaker was of the opinion that the Congress president has insulted the Hindus by calling them terrorists. He added, “He (Rahul Gandhi) says Hindus are terrorists. What will such a man do by becoming PM? He tells people of India that Hindus are terrorists. What does it mean? If you want to please Pakistan why are you insulting us?”

Yadav was referring to the alleged meeting between then US ambassador Timothy Roemer and Gandhi in 2009 in which the later allegedly said that saffron terror was a bigger threat than the Lashkar-e-Taiba. It is to be known that Assembly elections in the the state of Rajasthan has been announced and would take place in for 200 seats on December 7. The counting of votes will take place on December 11.
