Two of K-Pop‘s biggest stars, Momo from JYP girl group TWICE, and Kim Heechul from SM’s Super junior have been confirmed dating. The news was welcomed by their fans. Rumours of Kim Heechul and Momo Hirai had earlier surfaced in 2019. But were denied by their management agencies. But, finally, the agencies have confirmed that the two are officially a couple.
Kim’s agency, Label SJ confirmed in an official statement, “After getting along as close colleagues of show business, the two have recently started liking and dating each other.” JYP Entertainment who manages Momo too confirmed the same.
After the news surfaced online, fans from around the world took to social media to congratulate the two.
Heechul and Momo first crossed paths in 2017 at an event. The two have been seen together on several shows, like Weekly Idol, Knowing Bros and TWICE amongst others. There is a gap of 13 years between the two. Momo is 23 years old while Heechul is 36.
JYP Entertainment, the label to which TWICE belongs, earlier had a dating ban, which was lifted last year, with the news that the group leader of TWICE, Jihyo was dating K-pop idol, Kang Daniel.
